"Officials to Promote Cleanliness of Park"

STRUTHERS - CASTLO Community Improvement Corporation is conducting an environmental analysis of its industrial park with the goal of promoting the entire park as "environmentally clean".

 

Some of the environmental work was completed last year, and CASTLO has applied for a federal grant for further work.

 

Park officials are considering billboards in the Mahoning Valley, Cleveland and Pittsburgh to advertise available space.

 

In order to market the park, officials held a "rail day" last fall to highlight the park's railroad capabilities and are planning an open house in the spring for accountants, bank officials, industrial Realtors, economic development representatives and the press.
